يعتبر برنامج التربية الإسلامية برنامج هام ومميز في قطاع غزة وله فرص عمل مناسبة، وقد تم التفكير بافتتاح البرنامج تلبية لحاجة المجتمع الفلسطيني للتخصص ويكون عمل الخريج في: · المدارس التابعة لوزارة التربية والتعليم التابعة للسلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية. · مدراس وكالة الغوث لتشغيل اللاجئين. · رياض الأطفال. · خطباء ووعاظ في وزارة الأوقاف والشئون الدينية.
يهدف القسم إلى تحقيق مجموعة من الأهداف تتمثل في الآتي: 1. إكساب الطلبة التنور التكنولوجي. 2. إكساب الطلبة المعرفة العلمية التخصصية التي تواكب المستجدات العلمية. 3. إكساب الطلبة المهارات العملية المختلفة. 4. إكساب الطلبة مهارات التدريس المختلفة وتوظيفها في التعليم. 5. إكساب الطلبة مهارات الفكر التربوي والمهارات الإدارية. 6. إعداد الكفاءات العلمية التخصصية في مجال التربية الإسلامية وتأهيلهم للدراسات العليا.
