يهدف المساق إلى تبصير الطالب ببعض المفاهيم والأسس والمبادئ العامة في التربية الإسلامية كما يتضمن تعريفه بأهدافها وأساليبها كما يقدم وصفاً لدور وسائط التربية في المجتمع الإسلامي، في بناء الشخصية المسلمة .
